Huawei has appointed former BP chief exec
Lord Browne as the first chairman of its newly created local British board. The
formation of the UK board headed by a high-profile public figure followed the
model Huawei has pioneered in Australia since 2011 when it appointed former
admiral John Lord, ex-foreign minister Alexander Downer and former Victorian
premier John Brumby to its first ever local board.
